This is like a dictionary for grammar. It’s incredibly easy to find information, and a surprising amount of topics are covered.
It’s organized alphabetically and cross-referenced well. For example, if you want to read about uses for the word “would,” you just flip to the W section and you’ll find a page or so on “would,” and it will also tell you to refer to “modal auxiliary verbs” for more info.
I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to teach English to speakers of other language. I also recommend it for more advanced English language students.
This is not a book that you sit and study for an hour to learn language; it is a reference book for when you need to quickly resolve a specific question.
